Biography
Was introduced to golf by his parents at the age of ten in Gothenburg, but only started taking the game seriously during his Marketing degree at Francis Marion University in South Carolina, America. Enjoyed an impressive collegiate career, posting eight top ten finishes and helping the University capture the NCAA Division II national championship. In 2002 he shot the lowest round in the University?s history with a 64 on the opening day of the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Tournament, and that same season he recorded a stroke average of 72.3, which was also a University record. Had two top ten finishes on the Challenge Tour in 2008, finishing tied eighth in the Challenge de Espaņa and tied fourth in the Dubliner Challenge. Won his European Tour card at the 2009 Qualifying School after coming through all three stages, finishing top of the pile at the Second Stage at Costa Ballena, and sixth at the Final Stage at PGA Catalunya Resort after closing with a superb round of 66. Attached to Gullbringa Golf & Country Club where Henrik Stenson began his career, and cites the Ryder Cup player as a big influence on his own career.
